Hajj registration process for local pilgrims will be starts from 1st Dul Qaada or 5th of August Thursday. Earlier this date was announced as Shawwal 15 (July 20) by Makkah Arabic daily report which has been modified later by Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for local pilgrims.
The registration for Hajj could be done through two different ways which includes getting your hajj registered with the help of local Hajj companies or you can do it by your own by visiting the official website of Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The local travel companies are different Hajj fees which are usually depends on the distance from tents of Mina, transport and other luxuries like food and accommodation etc. But on average the Hajj packages for 2016 starts from as low as SR 3,000 where on other hand the official Hajj fee by Ministry of Hajj to be announced soon but last year Hajj fees was in the range of SR 3,000 to SR 11,890 for different packages which includes low package to luxury one.
While the local pilgrims are allowed to purchase any of Hajj package from local company or Hajj ministry but if you are coming along with kids to perform Hajj then you are not allowed to purchase low-cost Hajj, and the pilgrims with kids will be provided with normal tents.
